Portland International Airport Allowing Cannabis on In-State Flights

pdxPortland International Airport (PDX) is allowing passengers to travel with cannabis while on flights, as long as the trip is within the state.

Port of Portland officials said on Thursday that Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents are no longer searching bags for cannabis as long the passengers aren’t flying out of state, and are following state law.

In Oregon, as of July 1st, it’s legal for anyone 21 and older to possess up to an ounce of cannabis in public (half a pound in private), and to cultivate up to four cannabis plants for personal use.

It’s also legal to possess up to 16 ounces of cannabis-infused solids, such as brownies and cookies, and up to 72 ounces of cannabis-infused liquids, such as tinctures and teas.
