Stupidity In Action: Cops Harass Elderly Couple For What *Appears* To Be A Pot Leaf Bumper Sticker
In a shining example of not only police stupidity, but of just how ridiculous cannabis prohibition has become, a couple driving through Tennessee, both in their sixties, were pulled over and harassed by multiple police officers – in body armor and wielding guns – because of a report that they received about a pot-leaf bumper sticker that was on the vehicle.

It turns out, the bumper sticker wasn’t cannabis related, but rather a picture of a buckeye leaf. The couple was from Ohio, and are fans of the college football team the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Taking the words right from our mouths, Bonnie Jonas-Boggioni, one of the victims, stated to USA Today, “It’s just amazing they would be that dumb”. Ha.
The stop occurred on Interstate 40, where two black SUVs pulled the couple over, and began to question them, “What are you doing with a marijuana sticker on your bumper?”, one of the officers asked. The couple then explained that it was a buckeye leaf, even showing the officers a sweater they have with the leaf on it.
The officer eventually backed off, urging the couple to remove the sticker, which they thankfully didn’t do.
So, there you have it….another example of cannabis prohibition at work. This is also another example of police overusing and abusing their power and resources; even if the bumper sticker was cannabis related, what right (or warrant) did they have to pull this couple over, approaching them with weapons, because of a sticker? Even if they were in their rights, why would they not at least get confirmation that what they’re looking at is what they thought is was?

FYI driving along I40 the entire interstate ( entire width of Tennessee ) is and has been for some years dotted the entire way with black suvs clearly labeled that drug dogs are on board.

TENNESSEE … Isn’t that the state with the religious snake handlers…. I’d like to thank them for being so backwards and stupid. It happens that when I read about the idiot religious nuts dying from one of their snake bites that, it occurred to me what the scripture in Mark 16 :18 is speaking of when it says , ” in my name they shall take up serpents.. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover… The fact that the world of Christianity don’t know what it means is a much bigger scandal than the idiot Tennesseans who died from their idiot snake bites… There are , ( I don’t know how to put it) way, way, way, way, far, far, to MANY SERPENTS IN AMERICA TODAY. the bible identifies them in many places..Both Jesus and John the baptist spoke to them and warned them of who they are… calling them serpents..
