Norman Reedus CannaKids Fundraiser Reaches Goal
Nearly 1,000 people donated to the fundraiser.
CannaKids is a California organization that specializes in and advocates for cannabis oil for the treatment of various ailments. The group recently launched a fundraiser with the goal of reaching $15,000. The fundraiser was conducted in conjunction with Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl on The Walking Dead. Reedus donated numerous items that he autographed and are being sent select contributors of the fundraiser (click here for the list of winners).
The fundraiser launched on January 2nd with an initial goal of $10,000, and a secondary goal of $15,000. Both goals were reached; the campaign ended on January 12th with $17,083 raised from 989 donors.
“Our campaign with Norman Reedus has been so exciting!”, says CannaKids. “He raised just under 17 thousand dollars for our pediatric patients. WOW!!! THANK YOU Norman and all who participated, bought raffle tickets and shared this campaign with their friends. Words can’t begin to express our gratitude.”
