TRU Delta Eight Brand Review
If you’re heavily involved in the cannabis scene and staying up to date on the latest trends and products being launched, then you’ve probably heard of Delta-8.
For those who haven’t, Delta-8 hemp THC is the milder sister compound of the highly popular and overly scrutinized Delta -9 THC that has much stronger psychotropic properties. Delta-8 THC typically contains 0.3% of THC or less making it legal in many states while still providing many of the same benefits and experiences as Delta-9.

Their main products are their delicious assorted flavor gummies that come in strawberry, tropical bliss, blueberry and fruit punch flavors. These super tasty treats come in a 375mg ($35) bottle or a 750mg ($45) bottle with each gummy well dosed at 25mg.
We were really impressed with the high quality ingredients used in TRU Delta Eight Gummy product such as purified water, pure sugar cane, natural flavors and coloring and their hemp derived Delta-8. And at only 20 calories per gummy, you don’t have to worry much about an impact to your waistline.
But honestly, this isn’t about the calories. It’s about a fun tasty way to get the benefits of cannabis while getting a lighter and more controlled high. Now as a big fan of everything gummy, we, at the TheJointBlog, absolutely loved all the flavors. The strawberry and fruit punch were our 2 favorites out of the lot. The products were soft, chewy and delivered on the euphoria as expected.
Terpene Infused Distillate
We were able to try TRU Delta Eight’s Fire OG Terpene Infused Distillate.
If you’re not familiar with Terpene induced distillates, here’s a few-sentenced crash course. Distillates are cannabis extracts consisting of a single compound and all secondary plant matter and material is removed. In this case, the compound extracted is hemp based Delta-8 THC compound and is the purest possible.
These distillates can be used in vape cartridges, infused in edibles, taken sublingually, dabbed, smoked, ingested in capsules and infused in many other products. While removing the other plant compounds help create a potent and pure product, you also lose much of the smell, taste, texture and some of the great health benefits of the cannabis plant. So infusing terpenes back into distillates can create flavors and aromas, change the viscosity and develop the “entourage effect” that can positively interact with the endocannabinoid system to provide more health benefits.

So naturally infusing those terpenes into TRU’s Delta-8 distillate creates a wonderful foundation for a well rounded product.
We were impressed with the liquid and pleasantly surprised by its potency. The glass syringe was really easy to use and gave us great control to dose for various purposes (like making edibles).
Disposable Vape Pen
With this same base of ingredients, TRU Delta Eight also sells 1 gram disposable pens. We were able to test the Super Lemon Haze (Sativa) Terpene infused Delta-8 disposable pen.
The size of the pen is super practical and easy to hold for both small or large hands. It’s lightweight and works on a single charge. Overall, it’s a great little tool to get the dose you need and enjoy a wonderful high.
The company also carries 2 additional flavors for their disposable pens: Gelato and Fire OG. We didn’t get the chance to sample those however based on the taste and quality of the other products that we got our hands on, we are expecting these to be just as good.
Sublingual Tinctures
TRU Delta Eight also has a line of 3 Ultra Premium Sublingual Delta-8 Tinctures. These are the purest Delta-8 products on the market today. Each sold in 1500MG bottles with child resistant closures and dropper for accurate dosing.
TRU Delta Eight holds true to the same 3 flavors for this product as well:
- Fire OG – has a heady aroma, with hints of smoke and sweet herb.
- Super Lemon Haze – full bodied and zesty with hints of citrus and herbal pine and a sweet finish
- Gelato – balanced and smooth berry flavor
Taking Delta-8 product sublingually through tinctures allows you to really control dosing drop by drop. It is much easier to manage intake this way than eating edibles or vaping.
It is also quickly absorbed into the bloodstream through the lining of the mouth. When consuming edibles you have to wait for the metabolic process through your gut and liver to take place (and often this deteriorates the cannabinoid as it passes through that process reducing dosing impact).
