Indiana Senate Votes to Legalize Hemp

Indiana’s full Senate has given approval to Senate Bill 357, a proposal to legalize industrial hemp. The measure was approved unanimously last week by the Senate Agriculture Committeehemp-growing-in-berliin-199x300, and now moves to the House of Representatives, where its passage will send it to the governor for final consideration.

During the bill’s public hearing in the Senate Agriculture Committee, not one individual or organization spoke in opposition, while numerous spoke in favor.

Indiana Senate Committee Unanimously Approves Hemp Legalization Proposal

Yesterday Indiana’s Senate Agriculture Committee gave unanimous approval to Senate Bill 357, a measure to legalize hemp under state law.
