Colorado Rally Planned in Support of Cannabis for PTSD

Less than two weeks after Colorado’s Department of Health and Environment rejected adding post trauatic stress disorder (PTSD) to the list of qualifying medical cannabis conditions, activists have announced a Medical Marijuana for PTSD Rally.

Hosted by Operation Grow for Vets, the rally will place in Denver (3461 Ringsby Court) starting at 11AM, and ending at 2PM.

Government Funded Study: Legalized Medical Cannabis Doesn’t Increase Teen Usage

useA new study published in The Lancet Psychiatry, and funded by the U.S. National Institute on Drug Abuse, shows no significant difference in adolescent cannabis use in the states that have legalized medical use of the substance.

This comprehensive study examined 24 years of data from over a million teenagers in 48 states, and found absolutely no evidence that legalized medical cannabis has led to teenagers using cannabis at higher rates.
