Missouri Medical Cannabis Bill Passes House Committee Unanimously
A proposal to legalize cannabis extracts for medical purposes has been passed
with a unanimous vote by Missouri’s House General Laws Committee.
Under the proposed law – House Bill 2238 – the state’s Department of Agriculture would be authorized to produce, manufacture and distribute cannabis extract that’s low in THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and high in CBD (cannabidiol). Those who receive a recommendation from a neurologist would be allowed to possess up to 20 ounces of cannabis extract.
The proposal also requires the state to certify a higher education institution to cultivate cannabis for research purposes.
The measure, which is sponsored by House Speaker Tim Jones and House Majority Leader John Diehl, is expected to be voted on by the full House as soon as next week.

I hope they do not turn them into GMO’s, the plant is perfect by itself we do not need animals or anything non related DNA injected into the seeds.

This is nothing more than the drug companies keeping it in their favor so that they will still be able to make all the money and still sell their narcotics to the other patients. After all they already have a pill called canoboid or something like that. Leave the plant alone as it is perfect the way god invented it, and don’t let the pharmaceutical companies customize it so that it ends up with a list of a hundred side affects that will scare you to use it. That is why the pharmaceutical companies have always given millions to political candidates so they will have exclusive rights to the plant, and the states that agree to that say goodbye to the potential taxes and extra jobs that it creates let alone fill all them empty buildings in your towns. Wake up Mayors and Governors before you sign a bill that will do nothing for your state as far as taxing and job creating.

Any new,news on the allowance of other doctors other than nerologists being able to prescribe the oil?Or does anyone know a nerologist thats giving prescriptions yet ? My 15 yr old daughter has been on all the meds and still has some sezuires occassionally we really want her off these meds and enjoying a better quality of life before we have to talk brain surgery t’y,il not a fan of any drugs but im a bigger fan of my daughter living a higher quality of life than in scared of trying a less impactful or mind alternating drug than the onfi lamictal and exos shes on currantly
