The International Cannabis Business Conference Set to be the Cannabis Event of the Year

The International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC), taking part in Portland Oregon on September 13th and 14th, is set to be one of theicbc most important cannabis-related events of the year. The conference, which will take place in the Portland Ballroom of the Oregon Convention Center, will include dozens of expert speakers from across the world, including the likes of U.S. Congressman Earl Blumenauer, Oregon State Senator Floyd Prozanski and Oregon State Representative Peter Buckley.

Other speakers at this prestigious event include authors such as Andrew Sullivan, Ed Rosenthal and Doug Fine, lawyers such as Dave Kopilak (Crux Law Group), John Mansfield (Mansfield Law), Robert McVay (CannaLaw Group) and Brian Vicente (Vicente Sederberg, LLC, co-director of the Amendment 64 campaign), and activists such as Laura Blanco de León (President of the Association of Cannabis Studies of Uruguay) and Diance Fornbacher (co-founder of the NORML Women Alliance).

Other speakers include Troy Dayton, co-founder of the ArcView Group, Don Duncan, co-founder of Americans for Safe Access, and Anthony Johnson, the Director of New Approach Oregon who is also serving as the Executive Director of the International Cannabis Businesses Conference. Sunday’s panels include Advanced Dispensary Operations, Advanced Cannabis Business and an Entrepreneur Panel, among others.

The conference doesn’t end with these programs, as there are party’s planned for both Saturday and Sunday night. On Saturday night there will be the International Cannabis Business Conference Mixer Event at Spirit of 77. With open dance floors, attendees will have the opportunity to dance the night away to the musical styling of Rocker-T. On Sunday night, the conference will hold a Cannabis Comedy Night, featuring renowned cannabis comedian Ngaio Bealum. This party will also be at Spirit of 77, which is conveniently located near the Oregon Convention Center.
