Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Says She Would Reschedule Cannabis if Elected President
In response to the DEA’s decision to retain cannabis as a Schedule 1 controlled substance, Hillary Clinton’s campaign says that if she’s elected president, she will reschedule cannabis.
“Marijuana is already being used for medical purposes in states across the country, and it has the potential for even further medical use,” Maya Harris, a senior policy advisor to the Clinton campaign, said in a statement. “As Hillary Clinton has said throughout this campaign, we should make it easier to study marijuana so that we can better understand its potential benefits, as well as its side effects.”
He continues; “As president, Hillary will build on the important steps announced today by rescheduling marijuana from a Schedule I to a Schedule II substance. She will also ensure Colorado, and other states that have enacted marijuana laws, can continue to serve as laboratories of democracy”.
The news isn’t exactly surprising, as Clinton announced in November that she supports rescheduling cannabis, though this is the first time her campaign has explicitly stated that she would take action to do so if elected.

I’m from Texas a double amputee and smoke regularly for my anxiety and phantom pain and totally support the decriminalization of Marijuana seriously people it’s the 21st century let the mickey mouse convictions for Marijuana and other ridiculous crimes and keep the rapist,CHOMOS and people who hurt kids,elderly and women locked up until they are to old or dead in prison and further more LEGALIZE TEXAS and TRUMP IN 2016

Please don’t schedule marijuana into any drug class .. Just let the whole world use cannabis the way they want .. World peace will happen sooner than we think..
