Cannabis Museum to Open Soon in New Zealand
A cannabis museum, displaying the history of cannabis and cannabis activism in New Zealand, will officially open on October 6th in Dunedin, kicking off Cannabis Awareness Week. The museum is a collaboration between the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party, and Otaga NORML.
The museum will consist of numerous displays designed to educate visitors on various aspects of cannabis use, cannabis law reform, etc.. Merchandise, such as t-shirts, will be sold to help with funding.
“People in the community have been overwhelmingly supportive,” says Abe Gray, who’s directing the museum. Gray plans to use the museum as a way to build support for the group’s efforts to legalize cannabis in New Zealand.
