We are a blogging website designed to both inform individuals on current cannabis issues, as well as designed to inspire individuals to get involved in the movement of legalization.
We believe cannabis prohibition is a failed policy that causes an unacceptable amount of destruction. Among focusing on policy changes regarding our outdated marijuana laws, we believe strongly in the fact that cannabis is an unrivaled medicine and is the answer to many clearly defined problems, especially through the implementation of hemp alternatives to fuel, paper, housing, etc.
Founded by:
Anthony Martinelli: Becoming a Director and Steering Committee member for Sensible Washington in 2010, Anthony has worked closely with several elected officials who support cannabis law reform including Washington State Representatives Dave Upthegrove and Joe Fitzgibbons, as well as working with sever other non-profit organizations.
Cydney Moore: Among also working with Sensible Washington as a Steering Committee member and Seattle’s Coordinator, Cydney has worked alongside, making lasting contributions, to multiple other respected organizations including the Cannabis Defense Coalition and Cannabis Freedom March.
