Poll: Over 67% of Pennsylvanians Support Legalizing Medical Cannabis, Up 11% from Last Year

67.5% of Pennsylvaniadccannabis residents support legalizing the use of cannabis for medical purposes, according to a new Robert Morris University (RMU) poll sent to media yesterday.

“The number that we’re getting from this latest poll is consistent with national support for medical marijuana, which is around two-thirds,” says Phil Harold, an RMU political science professor. Support is up 11.4% from last year, when an RMU poll found support for medical cannabis in Pennsylvania to be at 56.1%.
