Presidential Candidate Ben Carson Would “Intensify” War on Drugs

ben carsonIf elected president of the United States, neurosurgeon Ben Carson would not only continue the nation’s war on drugs, he would “intensify” it.

In a recent interview with Glenn Beck on his radio show, Carson – who is leading second place Donald Trump by 9% in the first voting state of Iowa according to a recent Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Politics poll – was asked, if elected president; “Do you continue the war on drugs?”

“Absolutely”, said Carson. Beck responded by asking; “You do?”, which led Carson to say “I intensify it”.

Beck, a staunch conservative, questioned Carson on this, saying that ” it doesn’t seem to be working now.”

Carson responded; “Yeah, well, go down to the border in Arizona like I was a few weeks ago. I mean, it’s an open highway. And the federal government isn’t doing anything to stop it.”

According to polling released last year – commissioned by the Observer – 84% of those in the U.S. believe that the war on drugs can never be won.

Wrong answer, public health issue, for those who want help for there drug problem. Cannabis is separate, none addictive.

How come alcohol is legal then, when its proven to be more damaging to your body than a lot of so called drugs? Not only is it bad for your body but it is also a main excuse for people to do stupid things and break the law. People get drunk and do stupid things and get away with it but if you smoke pot you go to jail or get fined. What sort of world is this? People should be free to make their own choice.

What does it matter what Carson would say or do anyway? I challenge ANYONE who has made an effort educating themselves on the 2016 candidates to explain why they aren’t voting for Bernie Sanders. If you are not a Bernie supportwr, please, take the time to share FACTUAL, VERIFIABLE, reasons why. Wake up, go to berniesanders.com and find out what YOU as an individual can do to make history. Mark my words, if anyone else takes the presidency, America will forever be lost. This is our ONE CHANCE TO END THE TYRANNY.

To paraphrase comedian Bill Maher :Ben Carson is a “dumb smart guy”. There is a video of Carson making the “intensify” statement and equally discredited prohibitionist’s baloney such as “using marijuana causes flashbacks. He also goes on about It being a “Gateway” drug…..

Yep! He’s just made a stupid comment about the war on drugs and he actually believes what he says. Even the right has had enough of the failed policy. Ben lives in an alternate universe called 1954.

Ben Carson? as the caterpillar said to Alice in wonderland…..”Who areeeeh you? The people know the benefits of cannabis medicinally as for you a head doctor a man that really knows the benefit of cannabis it is hard that you are a liar when you know the truth. I wouldn’t trust you with my Dogs’ brain tumor. You are a sellout and when you think that we do not have the best interest for our loved ones when it comes to cannabis CBD or THC. Ben people are having a better quality of life without you having to cut out his brain. Charleston Heston planet of the apes, also he said You maniacs you blew it all up and that soil and green is people. Stop the lies, stop the hurt, vote to rescind federal law on cannabis so as not to be schedule I.
