The study also found that marijuana consumption among those in Ireland is at the highest rate ever, with 25% of residents having consumed cannabis in their life – a 3% rise from 2007.

According to the study, the rate of cannabis consumption is lowest among those who dropped out of school prior to the age of 15, and highest among those still in college over the age of 20. 1. Yeah but weed is so expensive in Ireland! It’s really hard to come buy, and when you do get it it’s not the best of quality… Only the rich can afford it, people with higher education are generally richer!

  2. This is exactly opposite to the profile with tobackgo– $igarette smoking is over 30% for high school drop-outs and under 10% for those with doctorate degrees, according to research I read years ago. (Fact-checkers, get busy and find out if I’m correct.)
