Cannabinoid Deficiency May Cause Migraines, Fibromyalgia and Irritable Bowel Syndrome

A meta-study being published in the upcoming issue of the journal NeuroendocrinologyMedicalMarijuana2-JCR.jpg Letters, and published online ahead of print by the U.S. National Institute of Health, has found that cannabinoid deficiency may play a role in migraines, fribromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome and other medical conditions, indicating that cannabinoid intake may provide a treatment option for these ailments.

For the study; “Available literature was reviewed, including searches via the National Library of medicine database and other sources.”

In doing so, it was found that; “research has confirmed that underlying endocannabinoid deficiencies indeed play a role in migraine, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome and a growing list of other medical conditions. Clinical experience is bearing this out. Further research and especially, clinical trials will further demonstrate the usefulness of medical cannabis. As legal barriers fall and scientific bias fades this will become more apparent.”

The study can be found by clicking here.

Does this medication help heal lung problems? Does this medicine help kill cancer in the colon, kidney and bladder?

This is in response to the man who was asking about Cannabis and lung problems. I had asthma since I was 11 months old and after using Cannabis, I no longer need my asthma meds. I am in my 50’s and have not had anyone do any research to determine if Cannabis is what cured me, but Cannabis is all I do and with that, I feel it cured my Asthma. Here in California, my doctor recommended Cannabis to me for my Asthma. Doctors know what it can do, they just have had their hands tied with what some of them would like to do and that is to promote what really heals people…Cannabis is God’s Miracle Plant…just how I feel about it.

@Frank Price It depends on what lung problems you are referring to. It does help with asthma. Concentrated cannabis oil extract (Rick Simpson oil) has been known to put different types of cancer into remission. A quick Google search of “cannabis and cancer” will give you a ton of info.

Funny when people post made up articles about pot helping with the same issues that pot causes. My favorite: Pot helps me relax and relieve stress. haha, what a joke. Grow up teenagers and appreciate pot for what it is, not for what it is not.

@Sage – You are an idiot. The article links directly to the study, which is published by the National Institute of Health – meaning that it is certainly more credible than your backwards opinion. This is science – not conjecture.
