Poll: Nevada Voters Poised to Legalize Cannabis this November

nevadaVoters in Nevada would likely give approval to Question 2 to legalize recreational cannabis if the election were held today, a new KTNV-TV 13 Action News/Rasmussen Reports poll has found.

According to the poll, 50% of likely Nevada voters support legalizing cannabis, with just 41% opposed; 9% remain undecided.

Specifically, the poll asked voters if they support or oppose “the legalization of marijuana for recreational use in Nevada if it is regulated and taxed like alcohol and cigarettes.”

Question 2, which is on this November’s general election ballot, would legalize the possession of up to an ounce of cannabis, as well as the personal cultivation of up to six cannabis plants, for those 21 and older. Cannabis retail outlets – supplied by licensed cultivation centers – would also be legalized.

If Nevada legalizes what a economic boost it will be. I see High Times International Cannabis Cup of the future being changed from Amsterdam to Las Vegas Nevada. Tens of Thousands of Tourists will desend on Vegas for the Cannabis Cup. Vegas has it all
